Whispering Pines Golf Course, opened in 1963, is set on relatively flat land less than a mile from the 'strip' at Myrtle Beach.
At 6,700 yards off teh back tees the course is not long by today's standards but the clever design means for a great golfing challenge in an areas of outstanding beauty.
Always well maintained and with tree lined fairways, carefully integrated lakes and large, well protected and undulating greens with new TifEagle grass, the course is always worth playing.
