Enjoyable round at this north London course. Rolling hills make it a fair walk (lots using buggies). Condition was generally good, although tees could have done with a tidying and some of the previous players hadn't raked the bunkers. Greens were excellent considering how dry it has been. Only trouble was a fourball of members that wouldn't let our twoball through despite several opportunities. Thought £20 was just about right

A case of you get what you pay for. Not the most testing of courses, but all too frequently, good shots are not rewarded as a ball could bounce anywhere, fairways undulating, many ruts and banks, uphill and sidehill lies are the norm...even on the tee mounds which is particularly annoying. Quite hilly so powered carts are a must for seniors. Greens are good however, but never expect to hold with an approach shot as they are meadow greens and generally very hard. Frankly I wasn't inspired and lost interest half way round so posted a poor score for the back nine. It will be a long time before I play it again.

Trent Park is open to the public and as such is open to abuse, but I have to say it is currently in fine condition. At this time (April 09) the fairways and greens would grace any private members club. This must be one of the best public course in the SE. We teed off at noon and got round in a very respectable 3 1/2 hrs. Give it a try, but avoid shool holidays and weekends unless you have plenty of time.

Perhaps the best public course I have been on - better than many private courses I have played. Can be very slow at weekends though

Being almost opposite Oakwood Underground Station, its easily accessable to all. The only real downside to this course is its very hilly therefore exhausting!! Buggies are available so that problem is solved for less fit players!! Other then that, this is a lovely course to play with a real variety to challange your game. A GREAT all round venue to visit!!
