Summary:

Stock Brook Golf & Country Club, set on the outer fringes of the picturesque village of Stock, this Lutyen inspired manor house enjoys space and breathtaking views from every vista over the 27 hole championship golf course and Essex countryside.
This 200 acre estate provides a combination of an up to the minute members club, the best of today’s sporting and leisure facilities working in harmony with the more traditional banqueting suites enjoyed by wedding celebrations and the business client.
The golf course consists of three loops of nine holes aptly named the Stock, Brook and the Manor. The main 6,950 yard championship layout is based on the Stock & Brook loops. Here the designer, Martin Gillett, created a fine test of golf that is a pleasure to play.
Gillett, an Essex based architect whose work includes supervising the construction of Wentworth's acclaimed South Course, makes clever use of the natural rolling landscape, the water features and many of the courses mature trees. Set in breathtaking Essex countryside, the Stock Brook course presents a delightful challenge for both deft stroke player and long hitters alike.
The par 35 Manor Course is situated on either side of the Country Club's driveway, and water comes into play on at least four holes. The Manor 9 is seen as an alternative to the Stock-Brook 18, or as an addition to 27 and 36 hole golf days. The Manor Course offers a number of short, delightfully tempting risk / reward holes. The 338 yard 3rd hole is an example of a possible birdie or double-bogey hole.
Stock Brook has a program of year-round society packages that ensure your golf society is welcome any month of the year.

Facilities:

Hotel, Country club, Professional shop. Driving range. Teaching academy. The club is coming up to its 15th year and is fast gaining a reputation as one of the county's premier golfing venues hosting many major events including the prestigious PGA East Region Final Order of Merit where some one hundred top professionals from the seven counties compete.
