Summary:

The 16th century Cobham Hall, home to the Earls of Darnley, look over the west part of the course whilst the family mausoleum (dated 1783) stands to the South.
An Open Championship Regional Qualifying Venue for 2004 - 2009. The course was built to the highest specifications and is extremely well designed in a wonderfully spacious parkland setting. Most importantly, it is an excellent test of golf which, by the judicious placement of tee markers, can be enjoyed by golfers of all skill levels.
As well as some demanding one-shot holes, there are tough par fours, much influenced by the wind, and all 18 greens produce a fast and consistent pace and offer a wealth of subtle borrows.
Rochester & Cobham Park is a friendly club, blessed with a wonderful course

Facilities:

Changing rooms with showers; Buggy & trolley hire; Fully stocked professional shop; Practice facilities include driving range, chipping area and putting green; Bar and full catering facilities.

Once I found it (it's a little tricky working out where to get off the A2 and how to get to the club entrance) it was all great - pro shop well stocked, practice area pretty good, course very pretty, great variety of holes and excellently maintained and clubhouse friendly and got everything you want. If I had one complaint I'd prefer it was £25 a round rather than £37 but I guess you pay for what you get. All in all I'd recommend the course to anyone and I'll definitely be going back.

Played friday 9th november and have to say it's one of the best courses I have played in a long time. The weather conditions were very windy but dry and the course condition was excellent. Mixture of woodland and open bu challenging parkland. Most of the par 3's were of a good distance and some par 4's very long. Fairways were quite generous (luckily). Will definitely go back in spring hopefully get a bit of run on the ball off the tee. Clubhouse excellent, friendly staff and well stocked pro shop. Not sure about practice facilities as it was too cold to attempt that. Overall excellent!!
