Summary:
This easy walking, open parkland course is a picturesque spot high above the River Tees and presents stunning views of the surrounding Durham countryside. Since its re-design several years ago, this new par 73 course has matured into an excellent 18 hole venue. Natural water hazards can catch you out with streams and a pond coming into play no fewer than 15 times in your round! The large clubhouse has excellent bar and catering facilities. Barnard Castle Golf Club welcomes all visitors to the course providing that they are members of a recognised Golf Club or Golf Society and have a current handicap. Visitors return to play the course year after year, a tribute to the excellent condition and overall beauty of the course.
