Almenara is a relatively new hotel, leisure and golf resort set in the hills behind Sotogrande.
The hotel is 5* luxury with a main building plus further single storey accommodation set around the pool.
The golf course is laid out as three loops of nine holes so allowing you to play a potential combination of three different sets of 18 holes (all loops start and finish at the clubhouse).
Being set in the hills the course is quite hilly with the fairways meandering down small valleys of exceptionally beautiful natural landscape, amidst two large lakes surrounded by pine and cork oak trees.
Always immaculately maintained the inclusion into the course of the natural obstacles means the course offers a challenge to even the most accomplished of golfers. However, the use of multiple tee positions also allows the course to be enjoyed by the less accomplished golfer.

Hotel with leisure and sports facilities. Golf clubhouse with changing rooms, bar, restauarant, terrace, pro shop. Golf practice facilities include chipping, putting and bunker practice areas along with a driving range.
