Summary:

Situated opposite the Donana nature park, and very close to where the Guadalquivir River enters the Atlantic, the Sanlucar Golf Course has 18 holes of which nine are links style. These holes extend along the sea and are affected by the Atlantic winds. The other nine (open from October 2004) are of an American style, with seven holes affected by water hazards.
The course is generally flat, and extends over 6,527 metres (for professionals).
The greens are wide and complex, thus putting ads to the character of the course.

Facilities:

Clubhouse with changing rooms, bar, restaurant and lounge. Pro shop with club and trolley hire along with practice facilities.

Value for Money

Course is very long and challenging. Plenty of water hazards and views of national park and sea. As a resident it is inexpensive - approx 30 euros. Practise area, putting and driving range excellent and spend hours practising. Golf bar/rstaurant friendly with good tapas, seafood and spanish meat stews a speciality.
