Peraleja Golf Holiday Resort, Murcia is a fantastic new, up-market golf holidays development 15 minutes inland from San Javier International Airport in the foothills of the magnificent Sierra del Puerto Mountains.
 
The entire resort was built with an intention of making it stand out as a quality development and so, in addition to supporting golf holidays, the resort offers various other leisure activities plus shops and numerous bars and restaurants.
 
In keeping with the ethos of quality the holiday property on Peraleja Golf Resort is quite different to other Spanish golf holiday resort being low-rise, modern designs which are integrated into the natural surroundings and with specifications of the highest quality with features such as floor to ceiling glass windows, skylights, split level design, double height ceilings and plentiful use of natural materials such as wood and stone.
 
The golf clubhouse is similarly first-class with everything you would expect and offering some beautiful views, but the centrepiece of the resort is of course the 18 hole, Par 72, Seve Ballesteros designed golf course.
 
As you would expect from the master, the course at Peraleja Golf Resort is simply superb. No two holes are alike, the course is beautifully landscaped over undulating terrain with the huge, very fast greens well protected by bunkers and water hazards.
 
Perhaps not a course for high handicappers, but anyone with a handicap less than, say, 22 will certainly appreciate the course and definitely wish to return for another challenge.
