Summary:

Vistabella Golf is a new development (opened in 2009) which has opened with 11 holes which may be played in a sequence which allows an 18 hole round of golf for a Par 73, 6.000 metre course.
Designed by Manuel Pinero the course has been developed to offer 4 tee positions, wide fairways and numerous raised bunkers.
The courses integration into its natural surroundings and a responsible use of resources have made this more than just a golf course, acheiving a unique landscape with more than 34 hectares covered in various species of mediterranean trees and bushes.
A truly interesting course which will be enjoyed by the most expert professionals and also those new to the game.

No matter what level you play at, this course will keep you going. It's a modern course similar to some of the better courses in the uk, with sculptured fairways that stop the higher handicapper hitting their ball onto other fairways, and the lower handicapper a little more of a challenge when cutting the dog legs. The desert style areas are not to bad to play from, but will hinder those of a higher handicap. They look effective and break up the fairways well. Bunkers are exceptional, with just the right amount of sand. Fairways are riddled with some big bunkers, but can be avoided. And the greens run true, and have multiple elevations, testing the best of us. But point it in the right direction and they run true, as good as any the pro's play on. So the course is fantastic.... And the club house matches it. It's a great set up, and will get better over the years with plants maturing to make it harder if you're off line. Be aware that it isn't a full 18 hole course yet. But I didn't mind playing a few holes again from the other tee boxes. There wasn't one straight up and down hole. Will definately be visiting it again very soon. Mick Anthony

We played the course a couple of times in April, loved it AND the bunkers. Had a good discount on a Sunday because you “ferticulated” the greens . We had some lessons from the young Spanish golf pro (SORRY we forgot his name) but we'll be back this year in november.

Played course on Saturday 16th October 2010- quiet!! excellent condition greens fairways and tees and quite challenging with the massve bunkers and 'desert' areas!! absolutely loved it!! will definately pay another vist when in the area!! Played La finca day before - Vistabella is better!! Playing 12-18 twice does not spoil the enjoment of the course. wish we could have had something to eat at the end but hey!!

Play the course once a week,, 58 Euros for 18 holes with a buggy and the course is great. Bunkers are not to bad but your susspose to hit the fairway anyway. Recomend to anyone

We played during June to July during the afternoons making use of the reduced fees and buggies. I played with better golfers than myself, but thoroughly enjoyed the course, finding it great value for money. The greens are challenging, but do-able. There are a lot of bunkers,but they add to the attractiveness of the course rather than spoil the layout. We just had to think where we were aiming the ball! My first experience of a buggy was great fun, making playing in the June/July afternoon possible.
