Part of the Aymerich Golf Group, Aguilon Golf is a new course which is already proving very popular with golfers on the Costa Almeria.
Set at the base of the magestic Sierra Aguilon hills and overlooking the blue flag coastline of Pulpí Bay and San Juan de Los Terreros, the spectaular setting is matched by the inventive layout of the course. The more than 100 bunkers, 6 lakes and big, natural ravines deliberately brought into play makes playing the course an unforgettable experience.
This course offers a challenge to golfers of all ability.

Thoroughly enjoy this course. Played it 8 or 9 times now, we play from the yellows which makes it long enough. A great challenge from the start with a superb variety of holes designed to make you think your way around the course. 6 lakes and plenty ravines make it easy to lose balls. Watch out especially for the par 5 5th with a drive over a ravine, followed by two lakes and a green that juts out into the second lake. I’ve lost a ball every time I’ve played this hole. The 6th is also a par 5 but is wide open in comparison, and relatively easy to hit the green in two. The 9th and 18th are typical of the choices you have to make with lakes down the right of both holes you have the option to thread a driver down between the lakes and the left hand bunkers, leaving a short iron to the green, or lay up short of the lakes off the tee and face a 6 or 7 iron to the green across the water. Neither particularly easy. Greens are always good, grass quality on fairways can be patchy but it’s still a new course and overall it is very good. Well worth the money at 38€ considering Desert Springs is normally 100€.

An 18- hole golf course only opened in the last couple of years. The location is stunning set in the mountains with sea views. Please bear in mind that I am a woman and a high handicapper but I belong to local golf societies and am including their views. It is a difficult course particularly for men ( the women's tees are substantially different). There are many ravines both from the tee and in the middle of some holes. Check for special offers which I think they have frequently . Green fees are usually higher than other local courses but probably the same as Desert Springs andit is a much more scenic course. If you are in the area you should certainly try this course- when I have played it has been in excellent condition but the lack of rain here makes all courses inconsistent with green condiions
