Summary:

Palmares, designed by Frank Pennink, is one of the oldest courses on the Algarve and some say it remains one of the best.

The course is excellently maintained and enjoys magnificent views of the bay of Lagos and the distant Monchique hills.

The quality of the course is reflected in the fact that it regularly hosts prestigious events (TAP Open in 1984 & 1985; European Zone Qualifying Competition for the XXXII World Cup in 1985; Almond Blossom Amateur Tournament, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008).
