Quinta do Vale is a luxury golf resort with the centrepiece being an 18 hole golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros and including 6 Par-5´s, 6 Par-4´s and 6 Par-3´s.
The resort is superbly integrated into the landscape and offers stunning views over the Guadiana River. The course sits in a natural valley overlooked by the Clubhouse.
At Quinta do Vale, players will notice Seve´s creativity as well as his promise: To please everyone no matter what their handicap. The course is enhanced by numerous dogleg holes, wide fairways and obstacles all set in breath-taking surroundings…
This is a lovely resort and a fantast Seve designed course which, with multiple tee positions, will challenge even the best of golfer whilst proving an enjoyable round to the less gifted player.

Heavy rain all night and all morning made for very wet conditions of play; one hole the stroke index no 1 was unplayable due to flooding of green only around the flagstick position (greenkeepers failed to move flag pos !?); all fairways were squelchy but not too bad really as they all had deep gullys in them Hardly anyone was on the course, maybe 12 others so excelltn pace and had time to enjoy it all. The course layout was enjoyed by all as fairways were wide and greens large and holding; the lakes made it sometimes difficult for a high handicap player esp as the wind was fairly brisk and made club choice harder No mobile buggies on course selling food or drink The greens were in good nick and so were the tees and bunkers, all agreed it would be good to play again in better weather conditions The views from the hilltop clubhouse are splendid across the course which is laid out in the valleys below; views across to Spain too No food eaten at the clubhouse which was deserted and a bit dark/bleak at 6.00pm.
