Quinta de Cima, the sister course to Quinta da Ria, is an 18 hole course set in a spectacular location on the coast east of Tavira in the Eastern Algarve.
 
The natural terrain is gently undulating and the course quite open but the clever Rocky Roquemore (USA) design uses elevated tees and greens to take full advantage of the naturally beautiful surroundings and views to create a visually interesting golf challenge.  There are dog-legs to the right and to the left, a stream crossing several holes which has been dammed to create lakes and permanent flowing water, elevated, well protected greens.
 
This is a challenging course where club selection and accuracy of shot are at a premium.

The greens have been seeded with Bent Crenshaw whilst the tees and fairways are covered with Zoysia.

Since there is no real estate construction on the site the Cima Course is a paradise for golfers who prefer not to play fairways lined with golf villas
