Summary:

A spectacular 18 hole golf course laid out on relatively flat land in the Ria Formosa Natural Park and with a stunning view of the sea. It is a PAR 72, comprising two loops of 9 holes and each loop with 2 PAR 5, five PAR 4 and two PAR 3 holes. Its total length is about 6.016 metres. Five lakes were strategically built along the course to add challenge. A good course for all levels of golfer.

clubhouse was very friendly (and reasonably priced), course is very prety (as are most in this area) with lovely views. plus it is in great shape and playing well. its not as challenging as its sister course quinta da cima but very enjoyable and well recommended (excellent value for money).

General greeting was very good and things were run very professionally Course in great shape, with interesting hole layout and greens of fairly large sizes but of differing putting speeds (not as quick as one would like but no pitted marks and no damaged surfaces); good bunkers and plenty of them; wide fairways again help the higher handicap plalyers; very enjoyable to play with splendid views across the adjacent coastal lagoons Mobile buggy on course selling food (rolls and drinks and chocs; not expensive Overall this was our favourite course of the four we played in the Eastern Algarve and will certainly return. We would also love to play its sister course at Cima which we are told is a lot tougher with long par fours on it.
