The Vilamoura Golf Victoria Course opened in 2004 as the fifth, and the most ambitious, of the golf course developments on the Vilamoura Resort.
 
With a vision to make it one of the best golf projects in all Europe the original owners are reputed to have spent €18 million on the development.

The Vilamoura Golf Victoria course, Par 72, 6,600 metres, was designed by Arnold Palmer and is certainly an impressive layout. Set out on relatively flat land a series of man-made mounds were constructed to add a sense of movement to the fairway, several man-made lakes, waterfalls, clever integration of natural hazards and numerous bunkers also combine to make a challenging but visually impressive and fun golf course.
 
During development every care was taken to ensure preservation of the natural wetlands plus the indigenous vegetation or Carob, Olive and Almond trees.

Today the Victoria Clube de Golfe is the most exclusive golf club on the Vilamoura Resort. It was host to the Portugal Masters 2007-2009 and is well on its way to becoming the Algarve’s and Portugal’s major venue for top international tournaments.
 
Visitors are welcome and a series of five tees means the course can be appreciated by golfers of all ability
