Summary:
Salgados golf is a modern links style course set on the flat land behind Praia de Gale (west of Albufiera).
At 6,000 metres off the back tees the course is not overly long by modern standards but it is always difficult to score well here. The water hazards are huge and numerous and the flat nature/exposed nature of the layout (just behind the beach) means that wind is nearly always to be contended with.
A great test but to score well requires accurate driving and good short iron work to the greens
