Norwood Park is often described as one of England’s finest examples of Georgian country house venues. It combines both Georgian architecture, attributed to John Carr of York, with over one hundred acres of deer parkland, adorned with ancient oaks and orchards born out of the original Bramley apple developed in Southwell in the 1840’s.
The golf course at Norwood Park was designed by the American Clyde B. Johnston. He succeeded in creating a magnificent layout with big undulating greens and plentiful water, which blends perfectly with the historic parkland setting. Built to USGA standards, at 6805 yards long, the course will appeal to all golfers.
Vistors and guests of members are welcome to play the course. We offer a range of prices for visitors and guests based on playing 9 holes, 18 holes or a full day and have packages for fridays, other weekdays and weekends and bank holidays.
