Fairly typical Wiltshire Downland course. A couple of steep climbs and some great views on a nice day! Unremarkable but not unpleasant, virtually always in good condition. Bisected by a road, this gives two side a different feel. On front 9 a short par 3 at the top of the hill is interesting (across a chasim) followed by a elevated tee to a sweeping fairway. On the back nine, there is a "dop" hole par 3 followed by a tough drive in a tight valley. Suffers from having other holes too similar! Decent value - play if in the area, it's enjoyable on a nice day! To be avoided if wet and windy as exposed!
