La Palmeraie Golf Club, Morocco

Part of the luxurious Palmeraie Palace Resort set 6 miles outside of the bustling city of Marrakech, the Palmeraie Golf Club was opened in 1992.
The original 18 hole 7,000 yard Parkland style course was designed by that most famous of golf course architects, Mr Robert Trent Jones Snr and built to USGA standards. Whilst the new 9 holes were designed by Talbot Golf.
Laid out over nearly 80 hectares of rolling, green land with thousands of palm trees and seven large lakes and with the snow capped Atlas Mountains as an impressive backdrop, the course offers a beautiful but strange contrast to the desert which it sits against.
With it's beautiful setting, impressive facilities and always immaculately maintained course it is no surprise that La Palmeraie was voted 'Top Golf Resort for Africa' 2006.
With several tee positions the course can be played to offer an enjoyable but challenging round to golfers of all ability level.
