Summary:

Mill Hill Golf Club was founded in 1925.
The Clubhouse is a picturesque old Coach House, which offers a wide range of facilities and services.
The course, laid out in wonderful mature parkland, was designed by J F Abercrombie in 1923, designer of many fine courses including Worpledon, Coombie Hill and the Addington.
Set in 145 acres of gently undulating Green Belt land extending over the Mote Mount Estate on the borders of Hertfordshire and North London.
Its 18 holes are all individually designed, many bordered by ancient oaks.
The course itself although only measuring 6247 yards, with lakes on the 2nd, 9th, 10th and 17th, represents a stern golfing challenge whatever your handicap.
Visitors are welcome at Mill Hill.

Facilities:

Excellent clubhouse with full bar & catering facilities. Professional shop with equipment hire. Golf practice area with driving range.

My mates and I have been coming here for the last year or so, and we love this Inner City Beauty!! Greens are kept immaculate all year round, but on a lovely summer's day, there a few better courses around London then this one. The signature 17th hole is a dog-leg right, downhill then back up again par4, so if your a right-hander with a typical fade/slice (Denpending on how much control you have!!), this hole says "RIP IT!! GO ON!! WHACK THE LIVIN HELL OUT OF IT!!" On our last visit in late Feb, the fairway was a little cut up, but at this time of the year, more then acceptable. 2fore1 Vouchers are valid here so a mid-week game for two works out to just £15, great value!!

Well as it was my 1st time, the course was in good nick and is one to visit in the summer, but even with all the bad weather the greens were very true and fast. I will go back later in 2009
