Mentmore is part of The Club Company group (11 golf clubs).
Mentmore Golf and Country Club lies in the shadow of Mentmore Towers, the magnificent country home built for Baron Meyer Amschel de Rothschild. Before you step onto the courses, you will admire the setting as the Club is set in 365 acres of the most picturesque Buckinghamshire countryside overlooking the Vales of Aylesbury and Chiltern Hills.
Pulse Cafe offers a wide range of food and full bar facilities.
Mentmore Golf and Country Club was designed to create two first class 18 hole golf courses, and a peaceful country club for its Members and guests to relax in. The two superb 18 hole courses, The Rothschild and The Rosebery are played over rolling parkland and feature lakes, woods and spinneys. All greens have been constructed to USGA specification and sown with Penncross Bent grass, which gives an excellent year round putting surface. Both courses provide a challenging but enjoyable test of skill for every calibre of golfer.
The 18 hole championship standard 6,855 yards par 72 Rosebery course has spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The front nine are played around the perimeter of the course, which is mainly surrounded by the mature woodland. The 6th and 7th holes are played parallel to the historic bridle path, bordered by magnificent chestnut trees that used to link the towers to the famous Stud Farm where three Derby winners were bred at the turn of the 19th century.
The 18 hole championship standard 6,800 yards par 72 Rothschild course is set in rolling parkland and has a different set of challenges with water hazards dominating six of the opening nine holes. The back nine are played beneath the honey-coloured turrets of the Towers whose watchful gaze can be inspirational to the most humble of golfers, particularly the 14th hole when a carry over more water can test even the strongest nerve. Complacency must be avoided until the 18th hole has been successfully negotiated, as this long par 3 between trees and over a small pond can be a potential card wrecker.

Changing rooms with showers; Club, buggy & trolley hire; Fully stocked professional shop; Comprehensive practice facilities include driving range, chipping area and putting green; Bar and full catering facilities.
