The golf Professional Shop is set at the back of the hotel (accessed around the righthand side of the hotel).
The 18 hole, par 70 golf course is laid out across rolling Kent countryside largely to the rear of the hotel.  The course has been imaginitively designed making best use of the undulating terrain to offer a course which is visually interesting and offers a challenge to even the most accomplished of golfer without unnerving the less able.

Played here with a few friends on Sunday morning as part of a birthday celebration. They accept Open Fairways during the week (giving 2 for 1 green fee rates) but accept 2-fore-1 vouchers all week. So the £40 per head for a Sunday morning (not bad in its self) was reduced to an excellent £20 per head. Although maybe a bit short (5,715 yards off the yellow tees) the course is well laid out with an interesting mix of holes, and well maintained with greens in excellent condition (especially considering it hasn't rained for weeks). Some of the views across the surrounding countryside are fantastic and, all in all, I thoroughly recommend it (especially at £20 !)

The course is a great little find. It's laid out in mature parkland behind the Marriott Hotel at Leeds Castle which provides some very lovely views across the Kent countryside. It's not a long course but the designer has made use of the rolling countryside to provide 18 different and generally visually interesting holes. The course is generally well maintained with wide fairways, not too much rough and fair/medium sized greens(greens had been tined a couple of weeks before and were a little firm but generally in good condition). The staff are all friendly and helpful and being part of the Marriott Hotel, aside from the golf, shop and upstairs bar (a terrace would have been good) it has other facilities available (gym, pool etc - at extra cost). And the best bit, because it's available on the Open Fairways card it was 2-for-1 so less than £20 each. All in all, a nice little find and well worth a visit.
