This course has a special place in my heart as my father was a captain of Sevenoaks Town G.C. (attached to Knole) many years ago. The greens are simple superb - fast and true. County Card day rate for the summer was £27 (last year) - what a steal ! Your in Sam King country here (ex Ryder Cup player) and the current Pro and staff are carrying on a great tradition. One of my favorite courses which although testing is very fair and a challenge for all grades of golfer, apart from total beginners. Club House staff can't help you enough and the food is reasonably priced. Great par 3 to start and a very testing par 4 to finish - in between the rest is pretty good too ! A hidden gem that was the first golfing home of Michael McLean and a must to visit - enjoy.

Played Knowle Park under the Open Fairways scheme (so 50% off green fees - meaning £20 to play a great course). Being in the middle of Knowle Park there are literally hundreds of deer roaming across the course. This, whilst a little strange to see, adds to the fabulous setting of the course (one of my favourites). The course is perhaps a little hilly for some people but it makes for an interesting challenge (no two holes are the same) and the whole course, from tee to green, was in great condition. Finally, everyone (from the professional in the shop to the people in the bar) were friendly and welcoming.

Played Knole Park quite a few times and if you can play off the back tees it's a different course. Some of the par 4's become very challenging and its a great finish with a blind tee shot to get in position for your second shot to the 18th. Clubhouse is very 'old school' but staff are friendly and food is good! All in all a great course in a magical setting.
