Kirkcaldy Golf Club, dating back to 1904, has a reputation for its friendly approach and has an 18 hole, Par 71, Parkland golf course which was designed by that most famous of golf course architects, Mr Tom Morris.
The course, known locally as Balwearie, is set in 150 acres of beautiful rolling countryside to the south of Kirkcaldy and offers a challenge from the first to the last hole. A burn meanders along five of the holes adds to the challenge but the mature trees, undulations, large, well protected greens all add their part.
With a well deserved reputation for excellent maintenance of teh entire course, Kirkcaldy is a course well worth the visit.
Visitors are welcome, contact club to make arrangements.
