Summary:

Established in 1895, Halifax Golf Club boasts one of the finest moorland courses in the UK and visitors are welcome to play on weekdays and certain weekends.
Created in the early 20th century by James Braid, five times Open champion and foremost Architect of his day, the 18 hole course at Ogden is as natural as the finest seaside links you could name. Every tee, fairway and green is as one with the undulating landscape of this exceptional moorland location.
Halifax provides a good challenge for even the best shot makers. Eleven of the holes feature water hazards, often nestling in the bottom of steep gullies which can gather your ball as naturally and easily as any seaside bunker. Rough is the other main hazard which, although neatly and fairly graduated, can be pretty severe for the really wayward.
Ogden is a truly unique experience in the world of golf and whether you conquer it or not, there is no doubt that you will remember it forever.
