The Glamorganshire Golf Club, situated in the seaside town of Penarth on the outskirts of Cardiff is the second oldest golf club in South Wales and the oldest inland course in South Wales. The Club is steeped in tradition - it was at the Glamorganshire that the Stableford scoring system was first tried by its creator, Dr. Frank Stableford in September 1898.
Although being near the sea, the Glamorganshire is not a links, but an 18-hole parkland course on undulating ground on the edge of what are now Cosmeston Lakes.  The course is expansive, immaculately maintained and, from the higher ground, offers extensive views of the Bristol Channel.
The Clubhouse offers all the facilities expected of such a great club.  Visitors are always welcome but, being an old club, be aware of the expected dress code.

Magnificent Clubhouse with Bar(s), Catering, Locker Rooms, Showers, Snooker Room, Private Function Rooms & Fully Stocked Professional Shop. Golf Practice Facilities.
