Makila Golf Club, set just off the A63 south of Biarritz, offers a lovely clubhouse, golf practice facilities and onsite accommodation.
The fantastic 6,200 metre, Par 72 course was designed by Rocky Roquemore to take full advantage of the rolling wooded terrain. The course winds its way through ancient oak forests and is laid out over enough land to make you feel that you are not bothered by other golfers. With water in play on several holes and strategically placed bunkers the course offers a challenge to even the most accomplished goffers.
