Golf Opio Valbonne, Provence, France

Golf d'Opio Valbonne, which opened in 1966, is one of the oldest courses on the Riviera. 
The 18 hole, 5,800 metre, Par 73 course was originally designed by Donald Harradine in 1966 but was substantially revised and enhanced during a major upgrade in 2002 overseen by robert Berthet. Laid out over beautiful rolling wooded terrain in the hills behind the world famous Cote d'Azur the course winds its way across the original wooded hills offering superb views over the surrounding countryside and down to the Mediterranean. The front nine demand accuracy of iron play and approach shots to score well whilst the longer back nine will test your accuracy with the woods (wayward bigg hitters will struggle to score well here).
The course is always well maintained and visitors are welcome (contact club to make arrangements).
