Golf du Champ de Bataille, Normandy, France

Regularly voted the best course in Normany and ranked amongst the top 25 courses in France, Champ de Bataille is laid out in 370 acres of the impressive forest and parkland of the 17th century chateau (originally the clubhouse).
The opening and closing holes are quite formal but the rest of the course, designed by Robin Nelson and Thierry Huau, takes full advantage of natural features such as valleys, lakes, centuries old trees, banks of wild rhododendrons and fern. The result is a magnificent, long, winding, hilly woodland course of exceptional beauty.
