Golf de Wimeraux, set on the cliffs overlooking the English Channel a few miles south of Calais, is a true seaside links course.
As you would expect the course is very open, with trees in short supply and the rough deep meaning that when the wind blows the course is very different beast from that one found on a calm sunny summer's day.
Wimeraux is a very popular course for very good reason, it's well maintained and offers a great golfing challenge in a beautiful setting with fantastic views down the coast and across the surrounding countryside.
