Finchley Golf Club is a golfing haven only six miles from London's West End, where individual visitor and visiting golf groups are greeted with equal warmth (some time restrictions).
The 6,356 yard, par 72, wooded, parkland course was designed by five-times Open winner James Braidand.  It is generally recognised as the finest challenge of golf in London and the short, uphill 12th hole, "Braid's Masterpiece", is one of the best know par threes in the south of England.
In mid-summer, when the trees are in full leaf, the views are stunning. It is easy to forget you are close to central London. The fairways are lush but narrow, the sloping greens are fast and tricky. The panorama above includes views of the back nine holes.
The club is set in the grounds of an imposing Victorian stately home that has served as the clubhouse for more than 70 years.  The quality of the clubhouse facilities match that of the course and even offers a perfectly placed veranda where you can relax and enjoy a drink and some food after your round while watching the action on the 12th, 13th and 18th holes.

Superb countryhouse style clubhouse with excellent facilities. Pro shop with equipment hire. Golf practice facilities
