Summary:

Fairhaven Golf Club, founded in 1934 and set out on land to the northern edge of Lytham St Anne, is listed by Golf World as being one of 'The Best 10 Open Championship Qualifying Courses' and described by Peter Alliss as 'a real gem'.
The course was originally designed by James Braid and is an unusual blend of links and parkland feel. laid out on relatively flat land the course is relatively easy walking in a very pretty enviroment. However, the visual attractions of the course should not deflect from the fact that the course offers a tough challenge to even the most accomplished of golfer. It has 118 deep revetted bunkers which are to be avoided at all cost and large, undulating greens which are very tricky to read.
Fairhaven Golf Course is always maintained to an exceptionally high standard and visitors are always welcome, contact club to make arrangements.

Facilities:

Large Golf Clubhouse with Snooker, Bar, Full Catering, Changing rooms, Pro Shop. Golf practice facilities inc driving range
