Oceanico Vilamoura Millennium Course, Algarve, Portugal

The Millenium Course, on the Villamoura Estate, is part of the Oceanico Group of Golf Resorts.
The course, which opened in 2000, is a Martin Hawtree development whereby he took (and refurbished) nine holes from the original 27 hole Vilamoura III Course (the remaining 18 hole forming the new Laguna Golf Course) and developed a totally new front nine hole.
The refurbishment and the totally new outward nine have delivered an excellent parkland course which is relatively open and offers a sense of space with three large lakes offering visual interest and wildlife refuge.
With it's multiple tee options the course is suitable for players of all ability.
