Summary:

When it comes to quality and luxury Dale Hill Hotel and Golf Club has it all - 2 quality Golf Courses, a First Rate Hotel with efficient and friendly staff and award winning restaurants.
Dale Hill's well established Old Course, although short at 5,856 yards, is rich in wildlife and mature woodland. With stunning views across the Sussex Weald, this course features a splendid mix of individual holes. The front nine is parkland whilst the back nine is heavily wooded, challenging even for the more experienced golfer.
The Ian Woosnam Course, constructed in 1997 to USGA specifications, is a par 72, 6512-yard course demanding and rewarding accuracy off the tee. The opening hole is one for the big hitters - a 600-yard par five demanding a long and accurate tee shot before sweeping down towards the first green. There are many spectacular challenges throughout the course including the 16th, a tightly wooded hole across a deep, vegetation filled gully requiring an unerring shot up over a rough-filled gully to a tricky green. With its scenic views weaving across the High Weald the compulsory buggy is a welcome addition to playing the course as you head for the Clubhouse. According to Woosnam, "The course has been designed to have the perfect balance - tough enough for the pros and easy enough for the amateurs - and can be enjoyed by all."
Dale Hill is owned by Leaderboard Golf Limited a group which includes the sister properties of Chart Hills in Kent, The Oxfordshire Golf Club near Thame, and Sandford Springs Golf Club in Hampshire.
Dale Hill has recently been placed in the top 10 British finest hotels and golf breaks by Golf Monthly, and the Woosnam designed golf course is currently at 134 in the UK & Ireland top 200 courses for 2004 by World of Golf.

An absolutely cracking course and definately well worth a visit!! Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. A great array of challenging holes to keep you thinking especially the par 5 11th and the par 3 16th which is 140 yards uphill to a raised green. The course features a great mix of individual holes and has some great views over the high weald. Cost was £45 (weekend) which included a complusory buggy.
