A good course with a number of interesting holes, and when I played it today the fairways and greens were in a really playable condition. This was despite the rain for about half of the round! It's main defence is the length of the holes, as the course is just under 6400 from the yellows. There are really only about 5 or 6 holes that are the sorts of length that you'd expect to par. Fortunately, to give you a chance on the longer holes there are a number of them where you can 'open your shoulders' without risking the loss of your ball. I wasn't too sure about the quality of the sand in the two bunkers I went into, but they are hazards so I suppose it's only fair they were like that. While I wasn't able to stop for a drink, the clubhouse looks really cozy and welcoming inside. I certainly wouldn't object to playing here again.

Tucked away but a great little course! A parkland layout, it plays longer than you think and has some challenging holes but dont think you cant score here - you can! It rained heavily on my visit but that didnt stop the fun. I will definately be going back as would like to play it on a dry day!
