Casterton Golf Club is a nine hole golf course set in parkland with rocky outcrop. There is natural drainage due to limestone rock which also makes the course very unique and enables it to stay open continually. The course offers panoramic views over the small market town of Kirkby Lonsdale and surrounding countryside. The course is Par 70 - 5666 yards with not long holes but tight fairways. The clubhouse was purpose built in 1996 and offers changing facilities, shop and all day catering. The course is maintained to a high standard and as the land drains well there is not a lot of problems with the weather. There is a small practice area with driving net and putting green. Visitors are welcome on any day.
