Summary:

This gem of a parkland course is situated in 150 acres on the western outskirts of Bury St Edmunds and is seen when travelling along the eastern carriageway of the A14.
The old Bury St Edmunds golf course was developed between 1922 and 1924 on part of the Sexton Hall estate.
The club moved to it's current location at Tut Hill in the late 1960's following the development of the A14.
A further 9 holes were added in 1991/2.
the club now boasts one of the finest 18 hole courses in the County plus a 9 hole pay and play course which is no pushover, at 2217 yards with a good variety of long par 4 holes and some very tricky par 3's.
From the large comfortable lounge area you can watch your fellow golfers putt out on the 18th while you enjoy a refreshing pot of tea or something a little stronger. The catering facilities are excellent with a large restaurant and bar area where you can recharge your batteries with anything from a snack to a three-course meal.
It really is a great place to enjoy your golf!
