Summary:

The clubhouse was built in 1985. it is a two storey building with a lounge and separate dining are. There is a large open air balcony which overlooks the 18th green and is a popular spot for relaxing after a round of golf.
Changing rooms and showers are located on the ground floor.
A wide variety of hot and cold bar meals are available daily and special menus can be arranged for visiting societies.
The course overlooks the River Crouch and has some of the finest views of any Essex course. For Essex, the course is surprisingly hilly in places and, being on the coast, the course is tricky when the wind picks up.

Wow....what a brilliant course! Decided to play this course as it is close to my Dads and I have always wondered what it was like and I was very pleasantly surprised! Tucked away and over looking the river Crouch, the course has some stunning views and not a road to be heard for miles! The course is undulating (linksy in feel too) and whilst not long, it does require a bit of thought to get round. The greens were excellent(!)and the fairways and rough are also well maintained. Friendly staff, a great little find and one I am already looking forward to revisiting soon. Give it a try, hopefully you will be as impressed as me!

I found this golf club to be a friendly place to play golf. The course was in a great condition when I played there. Some very interesting holes and some even better views over the surrounding countryside. This is not the longest course but it's a fair test for all golfers. I would play here again. Russ
