Alresford Golf Club, founded in 1890, has developed into one of the most attractive and challenging courses in the south of England. The reputation of the course for its outstanding overall presentation and true greens has led to the club hosting regular County amateur and PGA tournaments including the 2004 Hampshire PGA Strokeplay Championship.
The course is an easy walking, rolling downland course set on the slopes of Tichborne Down which not only provides for picturesque views of the Hampshire countryside, but also a fast , free draining course ideal for year round play. The five difficult par3's and narrow fairways ensures that the course is always a challenge. Stray too far from the fairway and find that your approach shots to the small and well-guarded greens are a test of distance and accuracy. The course has an ever growing reputation for overall quality and presentation and the greens are slick , true and arguably the best in Hampshire.
Alresford Golf Club is pleased to welcome visitors.
