The Algarve comprises 100 miles of beautiful coastline stretching along the southern edge of Portugal where fantastic beaches and small rocky coves are interspersed with a few large towns (like the beautiful ancient Roman & Moorish City of Tavira) and numerous small holiday villages.

When to go:
Golf Holidays in Portugal are a year round affair with some minor variations between the Algarve and The Silver Coast.
The Algarve, being further south, offers mild winters, warm Spring & Autumn periods and hot summer months. With the peak season for golfing holidays stretching from October through to May with the warm sunny days and cool nights offering perfect conditions for golf holidays and other leisure activities.
On the Silver Coast the winter months are a few degrees cooler than the Algarve and with a higher chance of rain (keeping the area green and fresh looking). As a consequence the peak season for Golfing Holidays on the Silver Coast is September to November and February to May – when the days are generally dry and sunny and the chance of rain diminished.
