Surf is a three bedroom, self-catering property in Saunton, North Devon, which comfortably sleeps 8 people. It is the perfect holiday location for any keen golfer as the garden leads directly to the clubhouse and main entrance of the course, and the house faces south with wonderful views over the course as well as over the sand dunes and the sea.
The house is perfect for golfing parties or families, and there is plenty to do in the area other than golf. The property is a short walk from the beach, via a quiet path that runs through the dunes, and the area offers plenty of excellent opportunities for walking, cycling, horse-riding and surfing. There are also numerous restaurants and pubs in the area.
The house has its own enclosed garden, and ample private car parking. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

The easiest way to reach the property is by car, although it can also be done easily on public transport.
By car: From Junction 27 of the M5 Motorway, take the North Devon link road to Barnstaple, and then follow the signs to Ilfracombe which will take you through Braunton. Once in the centre of Braunton, turn left onto the road to Saunton (about 1 1/2 miles). The house is on a small private drive (shared with two other neighbouring properties) just after the main Golf Club entrance.
By public transport: Train services run regularly from Exeter St. Davids station (which connects to all major routes from Wales, the North and London) to Barnstaple. From Barnstaple a bus or taxi can be taken. The bus stops at the Golf Club, which is a very short walk from the house.

North Devon offers some of the most most stunning scenery in the South West of England. Not only are there fantastic golfing opportunities, but the beaches offer plenty of entertainment for families, or those wishing to surf. Walkers are extremely well-served by the South West Coast Path (which goes through Saunton), the sand dunes on Braunton Burrows, and Exmoor which is just a short drive away. Horse riders are also able to enjoy the stunning scenery, with beach or moor rides being offered by several local riding stables throughout the summer.
