Description
Las Tortugas is a large country house with generous accommodation for up to 8 people (plus two children), situated in a quiet rural setting just two minutes drive from the popular (if rather challenging!) Valle del Este golf course near Mojácar, in eastern Almería. For non-golfing party members, the sea is just 10 minutes' drive away.
It has been recently renovated to offer spacious accommodation on two floors, each one of which can be rented as a separate unit outside of the main holiday season.
The house has four large bedrooms, 3 with en-suite bathrooms and one with large family bathroom adjacent. Three bedrooms can be made up either as twins or as king size and the fourth has a 1.5m double bed.
There are two sitting rooms, two well-equipped kitchens and a spacious dining room. Outside is plenty of open terracing and a 40m2 covered terrace furnished for relaxing and dining.
The 10m pool has plenty of sun-bathing area around it, with loungers and shades and a built-in barbecue.
Bed linens (100%) cotton are provided, the towels are large and fluffy and we even include pool towels to save on packing.
Winter is of course that is the best time of year to play golf in sunny climates - so why not come and find out if the sun really does spend the winter in this part of the world?

Local Area Information
Las Tortugas is situated more or less equidistant from the towns of Vera and Garrucha, with Mojacar Pueblo a little further. The beaches of Garrucha, Vera Play a and Mojácar are from 10-15 minutes away.
Away from golf, the 'must visit' in this area is the Cabo de Gata Natural Park with its wonderful unspoiled beaches. For a cultural experience, the Alhambra at Granada is just over two hours' drive away.
