Laguna Holiday Apartments Vilamoura is a brand new holiday concept immediately overlooking the Laguna Golf Course; adjoined to a nature reserve with uninterrupted views to the Atlantic Ocean. Whilst the resort has a tranquil setting, it is close to the Vilamoura Marina with its many bars, restaurants, clubs and the Casino - offering dinner with shows nightly. The famous Falésia beach, one of the cleanest stretches of beach in Europe, is a few minutes drive away. Whilst taking its name from the adjoining golf course, Laguna Golf Apartments and Villas is very much designed with couples and families in mind. We offer a range of fantastic one and two bedroom apartments and three bedroom attached villas all with large terraces and many with their own Jacuzzi. All are air-conditioned and fully fitted and furnished.

Airport - 33 minutes driving time 25.6kms
if driving from the airport leave the airport following signs for Faro, at the first roundabout keep right onto the N125-10, follow this dual carriageway for 2.9kms and take the road signposted Loule/Lisboa/Portimao.
Keep right on this sharp bend until you merge onto the IC4, follow this for 3.9kms until you see signs for Faro/Almancil, keep left/straight heading toward Almancil.
Follow this road for 13.7kms going through 2 roundabouts and 1 set of speed traffic lights. At the 2nd set of traffic lights turn right into Vilamoura.
Follow this single lane road for 2.6kms through 3 roundabouts, as the road turns into a dual carriageway you take the first right onto Caminho da Fonte do Lume and first left down the new road and drive 150 meters, Laguna Golf Apartamentos Touristicos is right in front of you.
Local Area Information
Vilamoura is the name given to an area rather than to any actual town. It is outstanding in that it is one of the largest single tourist complex in Europe and covers some 2.000 hectares of land. The land is variable in its type of vegetation, some parts covered in pine forests whilst others open recovered marshland. The company that owns this complex is very environmentally conscious and every effort is being made to protect nature within its continued planned development.
Due to the size of the resort area it offers the visitor nearly every form of sport and entertainment, and on the southern border is a long sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Amongst the many attractions and facilities there are five different Golf Courses, a large Marina, a Lawn Bowling Club, a Tennis Centre, a Sports Club, a Shooting Club, 5 Star and 4 Star Hotels, Tourist Resorts and Apartments, self-catering Villas, Night Clubs, an International Casino, a Cinema, and an excellent Riding School.
Within the centre of Vilamoura there is a preserved Roman Site and Museum of Cerro da Vila providing an interesting glimpse into the past of the area. In Roman times this location was important in the production of a fish paste known as "garum". The ruins of this Roman industry also include the baths in which the mariners used to bathe. As a location specifically designed for tourism it has proved to be a very successful location for all ages due to the variety of facilities that it provides all ages of holidaymakers. The municipal administration of the area falls under that of Loulé.
