Our spacious lovingly restored farmhouse set at the end of a winding lane overlooks uninterrupted views over the beautiful countryside of the Piotou Charente, ablaze with sunflowers in the summer months.There are extensive grounds and a good sized alarmed pool. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a King sized master bedroom, double , twin , and family room with double and single beds. The private south facing terrace has
alfresco dining furniture, sunbeds , mini furniture for little ones and BBQ. The large comfy lounge opens onto the terrace and has a traditional Charantaise fireplace ,UK satellite TV and DVD player.

Nearby are the famous Vinyards of Bordeaux, Bergerac and Cognac and the wine capital of St Emilion.
Very close to the river Dronne which has much to offer along its banks, great restaurants, pretty villages, a "sandy beach", small water park, fishing, canoeing etc.
The sights of the Dordogne can easily be explored including mediaeval towns like Perigueux,the world famous painted caves and the weekly market at Riberac.
Just minutes away is Le Manoir de Longeveau a welcoming golf and tennis club with a multi lingual creche.
There are several horse riding stables and lovely well marked walking trails in the area.
With its quiet roads and lanes it is ideal for cycling.
There are more challenging biking trails nearby along with bike hire.
