Welcome to Casa Nova d'en Borra, a charming Catalan masia situated in the La Selva region of Girona province. Open all year the masia is available for private rental - long lets, weekly rentals, short & weekend breaks - family groups, intimate parties, celebrations. Catering can be provided.

The masia is superbly placed for you to enjoy all of Girona province's many golf courses. Our nearest golf course is the PGA Catalunya and for a bit of family fun Franciac pitch and putt, both a fifteen minute drive.

Situated within an estate of 16 hectares, the masia has an open aspect to the south looking out from the walled garden, pool area and porch over the fields to the hazelnut grove and cork wood. The masia is private yet not isolated - the medieval village of Brunyola and it's restaurant is a three minute drive and Girona city centre is within fifteen minutes.
Transport links are excellent - 10 minutes to Girona airport, 15 minutes to the AP-7 road, junction 8, within twenty minutes of Girona & Caldes de Malavella train stations & easy access to the coast, Barcelona and France.

The masia has comfortable and generous accommodation with a sense of light and space. Recently updated, the house offers modern comfort within it's 19th Century walls with features such as Catalan vaulted ceilings and the original 1850 oven. The owners manage the property and take pride in providing a comfortable house for guests.
Currently the property has six bedrooms & five bathrooms, sleeping a maximum of sixteen people. The masia has a ground floor double bedroom which is ideal for those who find stairs difficult. There is a step up into the house & crazy paving.

Catalunya is an ideal destination all year round - balmy autumnal days, occasional winter frosty early mornings that warm up in the bright sun, snow gleaming on the distant Pyrenees in contrast to the blue skies, a roaring evening winter fire, February al fresco lunches, spring blossom & poppies, sound of the cicadas, with temperatures rising towards the summer - Catalunya enjoys a temperate climate without the extreme heat of the south and interior.

The house is owned by Chris & Gill Colverson, previously of Le Cafe St. Honore restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland.
